If you need your wizard to learn some new spells, then you can do this by learning some outside of your school. The thing is, you have to first be at a high enough level to learn the spell. If you are, then the next thing you have to do is know all of the spells in the list that come before the new spell you want to learn. You can approach two different types of teachers outside of your school to learn new spells. You can go to the headmaster teachers, Marlon Ashthorn and the Marleybonian Balance teacher who will give you a list that comes from their own school. Some trainers will allow you to learn them by just having the right level you need to learn it, while others you will have to know the previous spells in the list first. An example of this is the girl in the Faireground and she will train Sheild spells and you can learn them just by being leveled up to whichever level the spell requires. Keep in mind, you automatically get Training Points every couple of levels that your wizard level ups to. You can also get Training Points by finishing certain quests, but that is pretty rare. Alright, so if you’re new to the Wizard101 universe, then we are going to fill you in on managing your Wizard101 pets. First, is your pet’s Pedigree. It is the first two numbers that shows above your new pet’s head wherever it moves. It is intended to show your pets ability to show its rare Derby abilities and Talents that it is able to learn. Second is your pet’s Experience and Stats. Each pet has different power, agility, intellect and strengths. Over time, your pet’s statistics will grow and the experience will go up, which makes your pet stronger. This is very important if your pet is a Derby racer, but if it is a fighter, then it doesn’t matter so much depending on the Talents you teach it. You must feed your pet snacks in order to make it’s power attribute go up. In order for your pet to go up levels, you need to get your experience bar to max out. Then it will level-up and learn a new Derby ability and Talent. There are five possible levels that your pet will go through. These are Baby (the first level), then Teen, Adult, Ancient, and the last level is Epic. Your pets level also affects the price of your pet energy. You can get your baby pet trained quickly because it only requires 2 energies for each game. Then, each level adds 2 more on to that, which means that when you get it to the Ancient level it will cost you 8 energies. The Epic level used to add another 2, but that has recently been changed so it is also 8 energies per game. Lastly, your pets Talents are really important. There is a wide assortment of Talents you can teach your pet, and each one does something different. It all just depends on the Talent’s descriptions. Each pet is able to have up to 4 Talents. So, just be sure to work on building up all your pets because they can be a huge help and big part of your Wizard101 quests!
